Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo is said to be unimpressed following reports that he deliberately refused to return to Manchester United training.
The Red Devils have returned to Old Trafford and are scheduled for a pre-season tour to Australia and Thailand, but their main striker Ronaldo is yet to be back.
CR7 is said to have been granted permission due to family reasons as the club also gave him extra time off to stay in Lisbon with his partner Georgina Rodriguez and their children.
Daily Mail reports that a spokesperson has cleared the air as the striker is said to be unhappy following reports that he refused to return to training.

The spokesperson said via Marca:
"Cristiano Ronaldo will not be part of the Manchester United party scheduled to depart for our pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia on Friday.
"He has been granted additional time off to deal with a family issue.
"Cristiano remains under contract with Manchester United for another season and is not for sale."
The future of the five-time Ballon d’Or winner remains in doubt, having expressed his desire to leave Manchester United this summer due to their absence from the Champions League.
