Cristiano Ronaldo could dump Manchester United for another top Premier League club as Chelsea look set to table a bid for the Portugal forward.

Ronaldo has made it no secret that he wants to keep playing in the Champions League and has asked the Red Devils to sell him to a Champions League team once they get a suitable bid.

The new Chelsea owner Todd Boehly reportedly spoke with Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes last week in Portugal about a potential transfer and the Blues are moving swiftly to make the dream move happen.

Chelsea coach, Thomas Tuchel is looking to add another striker to his team as a replacement for Belgian forward, Romelu Lukaku, who rejoined Inter Milan on a season-long loan this summer.

Sterling to Chelsea transfer moves closer

Meanwhile, Chelsea is looking to bolster their squad with some marquee signings this summer and has reached an agreement with Raheem Sterling for a possible switch to Stamford Bridge.

The 27-year-old has just one year remaining on his contract with Manchester City and would be Todd Boehly’s first major signing as Chelsea's owner, Goal reports.

Sterling is understood to have spoken with Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel and wants to play for the German, who guided the Blues to victory over City in the 2021 Champions League final.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Manchester United are willing to offload Cristiano Ronaldo this summer after the Portuguese talisman asked to leave.

Ronaldo, who rejoined United last summer from Juventus, is believed to be unhappy at Old Trafford.

The Portuguese superstar has made it clear to United chiefs that he wishes to leave Old Trafford this summer.
