Manchester United open to selling Cristiano Ronaldo

It has now emerged that the Red Devils are open to parting ways with the club icon and will not stand in his way.

The Sun reports that United chiefs have finally succumbed to Ronaldo's transfer demands, with the club unwilling to keep him against his wishes.

The Old Trafford dwellers were previously adamant that former Real Madrid forward would remain at the club after he shone last season when he scored 24 goals in 38 appearances across all competitions.

However, the stance has since changed, with reports indicating that the club have now realised that they cannot keep their starman against his will and are avoiding getting involved in a transfer saga involving him.

Man United want Arsenal flop to replace Ronaldo

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Manchester United have reportedly identified Serge Gnabry as the ideal replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo has been linked with a move away this summer, with reports claiming the five-time Ballon d'Or winner has asked United to let him depart.

Gnabry, on the other hand, is as well said to be looking to leave Bayern Munich after he turned down a new deal with the Bavarians.
