It is now a matter of time before Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling completes a move to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea had prioritised the signing of the England international, with Thomas Tuchel desperate to strengthen his attack.
According to Sports Mole, Man City were equally desperate to offload a number of their attackers, especially after the arrivals of Erling Haaland and Julain Alvarez.
Having already offloaded Gabriel Jesus to Arsenal, Sterling is said to be the next in the line.

City were reportedly looking to raise at least £100m for both Jesus and Sterling - and look on course to getting that, having fetched £45m for the former.
Chelsea set to complete Raheem Sterling transfer
The Telegraph now reports that Sterling is on the verge of sealing a move to Stamford Bridge after agreeing personal terms.
The publication adds that Chelsea have agreed to hand the 27-year-old a pay rise that would see him become the club's highest-paid player once he pens a long-term deal.
On his part, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano claims that the Blues and City are expected to agree the final fee for the wideman for the deal to go through.

"Raheem Sterling accepted Chelsea as future destination weeks ago after direct talk with Tuchel - and personal terms fully agreed, he’ll be among best-paid players," he tweeted.
"Chelsea and City, set to agree final fee around £45m and then it will be completed," he added.
Chelsea star unwilling to leave Stamford Bridge
Earlier, Sports Brief reported Chelsea forward Christian Pulisic has reportedly informed the club that he has no desire to leave despite the Blues' attempts to sell him this summer.
The Blues are looking to offload Christian Pulisic after they reportedly included him in a deal involving Juve's Matthijs de Ligt.
However, the former Borussia Dortmund star is said to be unwilling to quit Stamford Bridge and has told Chelsea chiefs as much.
