Former Super Eagles goalkeeper Carl Ikeme who was forced to quit football because of blood cancer has moved on into another sporting activity winning his debut MMA fight.

After serious battle against cancer, Carl Ikeme was advised by the medical experts for him to leave football because of his health situation which he agreed.

Nigerian football lovers were not happy that time when Carl Ikeme announced his retirement from international football, but they wished him quick recovery.

As at the time Carl Ikeme was in goal for the Super Eagles, the former Wolves' stopper has already been tipped as good replacement for Vincent Enyeama.
