Dutch left-back Tyrell Malacia has officially been confirmed a Manchester United player ahead of the 2022/23 season.
The 22-year-old signed a four-year deal to join the Red Devils from Dutch giants Feyenoord.
Malacia, who becomes new manager Erik Ten Hag's first signing, expressed delighted in joining the English giants.
“It’s an incredible feeling to have joined Manchester United. This is a new chapter for me, a new league with new team-mates and a tremendous manager [Erik ten Hag] leading us," he told the club's official website.

“I know from playing against his teams in the Eredivisie, the qualities that he has and what he demands of his players.
“Whilst I know that I am still young and will continue to develop, I can promise the United fans that I will leave everything on the pitch every time I pull on the red shirt. I’ll always be thankful to Feyenoord for all they have given to me and my family.
“None of this would be possible if it wasn’t for them. Now I’m ready to focus on the future with United, and help my new club achieve success.”
The Holland defender leaves Feyenoord after making 136 senior career appearances for Feyenoord.

FootballEarlier, Sports Brief reported that Man United's first summer signing, Tyrell Malacia, has spoken for the first time after sealing his Old Trafford move.
Malacia was initially slated to join French giants Lyon before the Red Devils hijacked the transfer in a move that saw him join the Premier League side instead.
According to Mirror UK, United secured the services of the 22-year-old Dutch international from Feyenoord in a £13million deal.
