Ex Kaizer Chiefs striker Leonardo Castro exposes bad alcohol drinking culture at the Amakhosi

Former Kaizer Chiefs sharp shooter Leonardo Castro has said that there was a problematic drinking culture at the club that permeates through South African football.

As reported by Sports Brief, the Colombian was one of many players like Daniel Cardoso, Bernard Parker, Lebogang Manyama and Ramahlwe Mphahlele who were shown the door by the Amakhosi in a large-scale overhaul.

Cardoso recently claimed that some players would arrive drunk to practices, with troublesome ex Chiefs star Dumisani Zuma was suspended toward the end of last year after being arrested for drunk driving.
