Leonardo Castro is spilling the beans about his time Kaizer Chiefs.
The former Amakhosi forward has made a few revelations since leaving the Glamour Boys, including detailing the culture of drinking at the club.
As reported by Soccer Laduma, Castro recently exposed the drinking problem among players at Chiefs and also admitted that he regretted joining the Amakhosi and wanted to go back to Mamelodi Sundowns.
Castro has now broken down Chiefs’ transfer structure and just how much power Arthur Zwane has as head coach, The South African reported.

Castro admitted that Zwane had little power when it came to transfers and that he was forced to release players that he wanted to keep.
“He cannot bring the players that he wants. Coach Arthur wanted to keep some players and then the management said no, you know,” Castro said.
He explained that upper management would decide which players would be signed and who would leave and that Zwane had to manage the players he was left with.
Many Kaizer Chiefs fans were calling for Zwane to make a few key signings after he took over as coach, but Castro’s comments suggest that Zwane doesn’t have the power to do so.

FootballFormer Kaizer Chiefs sharp shooter Leonardo Castro has said that there was a problematic drinking culture at the club that permeates through South African football.
The Colombian was one of many players like Daniel Cardoso, Bernard Parker, Lebogang Manyama and Ramahlwe Mphahlele who were shown the door by the Amakhosi in a large-scale overhaul.
“You cannot hide that South African players like partying and alcohol. It is sad what is happening because alcohol is a problem," he said.
