Sadio Mané has expressed delight after winning the International Best Player accolade at the Ghana Football Awards on Saturday.
Bayern Munich's new recruit beat off competition from former teammate Mohamed Salah and Nigeria's Napoli forward Victor Osimhen to win the award.
In a video shared from his base in Munich, Mané showed excitement as he expressed gratitude to his teammates for playing a part in his success.
"I'm really proud and happy to win this award," he said. "All the awards that I have won in Africa means a lot to me and of course I won't forget to thank all the people that have voted for me.

"I thank Ghanaians and all the people across Africa for their support and prayers. I would love to join you but I can't. I love you Ghana, see you soon."
Sadio Mane scored three goals and assisted two as Senegal won their first Africa Cup of Nations title early this year.
He also helped Liverpool win the FA Cup and the League Cup before leaving the Merseyside outfit at the end of the season.
