Ghana and AS Roma teen sensation Felix Afena-Gyan has begun earnest preparations for the forthcoming season.
The 19-year-old forward enjoyed a meteoric rise to first-team football last season, scoring a brace for Serie A giants AS Roma on his debut.
Afena-Gyan has since won the inaugural UEFA Europa Conference League, becoming the youngest Ghanaian footballer to win a European trophy.
He also broke his goal-scoring duck for Ghana in the 2023 AFCON qualifiers against Madagascar and helped the Black Stars secure World Cup qualification earlier this year.

In a photo posted on Twitter, sighted Sports Brief, Afena-Gyan was involved in intensive beach work with renowned Ghanaian personal trainer Leonard Akoto as he gears up for the upcoming season.
The Sunyani-born forward would hope to get more minutes under his belt for the upcoming season after struggling to hold a position in Jose Mourinho's team.
Afena-Gyan's Roma will begin the 2022-23 Italian Serie A with an away trip to face Salernitana.
Meanwhile, transfer market expert Nico Schira disclosed talks between AS Roma and Lecce are at advanced stages with the youngster mooted to be seeking more playing time with the World Cup within sights.
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Felix Afena-Gyan and Kamaldeen Sulemana have been nominated for the prestigious Golden Boy award for 2022.
