Ghana and Al Sadd ace Andre Ayew has eulogized his father and retired Ghana international Abedi Ayew 'Pele.'
The Black Stars skipper opened up on the influence his dad has had on his career, describing him as a role model.
Abedi, the father of Andre, Jordan and Rahim Ayew, is regarded by many as the 'Greatest Ghanaian Footballer' of all time and one of the best from the continent to have graced the sport.
The three-time African Footballer of the Year, who won the UEFA Champions League in 1993 has three sons with the closest to have has modelled his game and his achievements being Andre Ayew.

Andre, the second child of Abedi Pele, has followed in his dad's footsteps by playing for French giants Olympique Marseille and Qatari outfit Al Sadd.
“I take a lot if not every inspiration from him. He’s my idol and an unbelievable Father,” he said on the Sports Highlights show as quoted by Ghanasportsonline.
His father has also been representing him as his agent and he negotiated several deals on his behalf including his moves to British sides West Ham United and Swansea City, current club Al Sadd, and Fenerbahce.
