Sadio Mané's jersey number for Bayern Munich has been revealed following his £35.1 million move to the Bavarian giants.
The 30-year-old attacker will wear the No. 17 jersey in the upcoming season.
It was earlier rumoured that the Senegal ace will favour his preferred No. 10 jersey which he wore at previous clubs, Southampton and Liverpool.
The reports were further fuelled by Leroy Sane's father, Souleymane Sane, who hinted his son would be willing to give up his No. 10 jersey for Sadio Mane.

But it appears Mane has opted for the No.17 jersey among a host of free jerseys
"Sadio Mané will wear the number 17 at FC Bayern. The new signing opted for this squad number after considering the available options. Last week, the versatile attacking player signed for the German record champions until 30 June 2025, a statement on the club's official website disclosed.
The number 17 at Bayern has been worn by among others including German-born of Ghanaian descent Jerome Boateng, former captain Mark van Bommel, Christian Ziege and Thorsten Fink.
