Real Madrid cult hero Gareth Bale is closing in on a move to the Major League Soccer in the US, with Los Angeles FC.
The 32-year-old has reportedly agreed on a deal to join the club, and a lucrative contract is being finalized.
Football insider Fabrizio Romano revealed on Saturday that Bale had signed majority of the paperwork, and an official announcement was imminent.

“Gareth Bale has already signed main part of paperwork with Los Angeles FC, done deal - contract until June 2023 with an option to extend also included,” a post from Romano’s Twitter said.
MLS, through their official website, also confirmed a deal had been agreed for the five-time Champions League winner.
LAFC are one of the heavy hitters in the MLS, and are currently top of the Western Conference with the season set to come to an end in October.
Bale will become a free agent in June, after a successful spell with Real Madrid.
Earlier in the month, Bale admitted that his desire to continue playing club football was mainly motivated by his desire to continue keeping fit for Wales ahead of the World Cup.
“The World Cup influences it. Any player will have one eye on the World Cup because it’s a major tournament that everyone wants to play in and test themselves.” Bale recently admitted as quoted by The Sun.
