Andre Ayew has finally appeared before Parliament’s Select Committee on Youth and Sports following Ghana's dismal performance at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.

Ayew, captain of the Black Stars and by extension leader of the player delegation at the 2021 AFCON, was summoned to appear before Ghana's parliament to answer questions pertaining to the country's poor showing at the continental showpiece.

Unfortunately for the Al Sadd ace, his club ties immediately after the AFCON made it impossible to meet the Committee, tasked to investigate the Black Stars’ poor showing at the tournament.
