Emmanuel Adebayor reunited with former Nigerian international Kanu Nwankwo as the ex-Arsenal stars were spotted chilling together during a trip.

Kanu featured for Premier League club Arsenal between 1999 and 2004 playing a total of 198 matches and scoring 44 goals for the club.

Emmanuel Adebayor, however, joined the Gunners in 2006, two years after Kanu had left and the Togolese sensation played in 142 matches and scored 62 goals for the club before his exit in 2009, Just Arsenal reports.

Kanu who seems to be promoting his business appeared to have invited ‘his brother’ to join in its awareness and had to share the clip of himself and Adebayor on Instagram.

He captioned the post:

"Kan U believe it? Glad to see my brother Emmanuel Adebayor. Good energy over here. KK to the world we got you covered in any sports wears."

Kanu won the Africa Footballer of the Year Award twice, claiming the prestigious award in 1996 and 1999, while Adebayor bagged the prestigious prize in 2008.

Adebayor screamed:

“Yoooo my Idol. King Kanu, King Kanu, King Kanu…. we’re vibing, we’re killin’.”

Meanwhile, former Super Eagles captain Sunday Oliseh has stated that the talent of Wilson Oruma helped the Dream Team to win the gold medal at the football event of the Atlanta 1996 Olympics.

Nigeria came from behind twice in the encounter and then Emmanuel Amuneke scored the winning goal beating the offside trap to win it 3-2.

Kanu Nwankwo was with the ball when the referee signalled the final whistle; behold Nigeria are Olympic champions, but Oliseh credited the glorious moment to Oruma’s brilliance.
