Dillon Solomons’ agent isn’t taking Sinky Mnisi’s claims lying down.
The Royal AM CEO set tongues wagging yesterday when he claimed that there could be more than meets the eye with regards to Dillon Solomons’ transfer to Kaizer Chiefs.
Speaking to Andile Ncube on Sports Night Amplified, he suggested that a story would unfold with regards to the transfer and that due process needs to be followed.
Solomons was unveiled as a new Chiefs player on Monday by the club, but his agent Grant Nieuwenhuys claimed that there was nothing to be concerned about regarding the transfer, iDiski Times reported.
“Chiefs did the right thing and followed the right protocol. We never got a call from Royal AM. So how can they sign a player they never spoke to? It’s not fair and we will protect Dillon because they are disrupting his focus now.”
Nieuwenhuys added that this was the biggest move of the player’s career and it wasn’t fair that he now had to read things that weren’t even true.
“I don’t think it’s fair to Dillon because people are sending him things and he’s reading things that are not even true. It’s a bit irresponsible, to be honest,” he added.
