The 30-year-old who impressed on his long-awaited return to the Premier League with Brentford is said to be considering the contract offer from the Red Devils.
Man United are hoping the midfielder’s relationship with current manager, Erik ten Hag will be the deciding factor why Eriksen will choose to sign for the Old Trafford club The Sun reports.
Eriksen trained with Ajax's reserves earlier this year to improve his fitness ahead of a transfer to Brentford, and the two are familiar with one other.
The Danish midfielder will be free to join any team of his choice when he becomes a free agent after his 6-months short-term deal with Brentford expires at the end of June.

Meanwhile, Brentford have not given up hope on signing Christian Eriksen to a long-term deal before the start of the 2022/23 season.
According to Manchester Evening News, Brentford coach, Thomas Frank wants the London club to retain Eriksen but revealed the 30-year-old is yet to make up his mind on his future plans.
Eriksen made 10 appearances in total for Brentford scoring one goal and making four assists in the English Premier League.
