The 2021 AFCON title has been touring several cities in Senegal in the past couple of weeks, a move to appreciate supporters for throwing their weight behind the Lions of Teranga in winning their maiden continental title.
Senegal made history after beating Egypt via penalty shoot-outs with poster boy Sadio Mane scoring the winning penalty to guide the West African nation to their first AFCON triumph.
In a post on Twitter, sighted by Sports Brief, natives of Senegal were given the opportunity to have a feel of the coveted trophy.
According to Kick442, only fans in the capital city of Senegal, Dakar, had the opportunity to witness the trophy tour before now but lately, a mini-parade has been organized for Senegalese fans in the Southern part of the country to get a feel of the AFCON trophy.
It has been a memorable year for Senegal following the construction of a state-of-the-art sports edifice in Diamniadio, qualification for the FIFA World Cup and the 2022 Women's Africa Cup of Nations to cap their AFCON glory.

FootballEarlier, Sports Brief reported that fresh from beating Egypt for Africa Cup glory in Cameroon, Senegal's heroes returned to Dakar and basked in their success in front of thousands during an open-top bus parade.
The players received a substantial police escort as fans flocked to the streets of Dakar to show their support to their Africa Cup heroes as the country celebrated their first-ever international title.
As well as the 500,000 fans who flocked to Dakar, a number of the squad's big names, including Sadio Mane, Edouard Mendy, Idrissa Gueye and Khalidou Koulibaly documented the day of celebrations via their social media.
