It is not yet clear whether Neymar was onboard the plane at the time. He had, however, share photos on the runway on his Instagram account just a few hours before the incident.
The Sun reports that the plane landed safely in Brazil. The Brazilian star owns an Embraer Legacy 450 Private jet, but the report has not ascertained if this was the plane involved in the scare.
The 30-year-old took some photos with his sister Rafaela a few hours ago next to an aeroplane. He then uploaded another photo a few moments later inside an aeroplane with the caption 'Miami Beach.'
Neymar has been in America after the end of the season, where he won the league title with PSG. He then linked up with the Brazil national team, where he scored crucial goals to help his side beat South Korea and Japan.
Neymar has hinted that he will be retiring from international duty after Qatar's World Cup. He will be hoping to guide his side to victory. They face Serbia, Switzerland and Cameroon in the group stages.
