Jose Mourinho has been spotted in Namibia for his off-season holiday after a long season, which resulted in triumph for his AS Roma side in the inaugural UEFA Europa Conference League.
Mourinho, dubbed “The Special One” by the media after a comment he made in 2004, travelled to Namibia on Monday, June 13 for a private holiday.
According to FARPost, Jose arrived at Hosea Kutako International Airport on Monday and is lodged at the luxurious Habitas Namibia sanctuary, about 73 kilometres east of Windhoek, the capital of the Southern African nation.
In photos posted on Twitter, sighted by Sports Brief, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid manager was captured spending his vacation in Namibia.
It is not the first time the renowned gaffer has made a trip to Africa, having previously journeyed to Cote d'Ivoire as the ambassador for the World Food Programme (WFP), working as an advocate for the organisation, raising awareness about WFP’s work and the push to reach zero hunger.
