NBAPaul Pogba Told Recent Comments About Manchester United Offering Him 'nothing' Were Unnecessary
- Leaked conversations from Pogba’s upcoming documentary took social media by storm recently
- In the conversation, the Frenchman seemed to suggest United’s latest contract offer to him was ‘nothing’
- Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha has called out Paul Pogba for comments the Frenchman made after leaving Old Trafford.
Pogba has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons in recent days after quotes from his upcoming documentary ‘Pogmentary’ emerged.
The World Cup winner reacted to United’s £300,000-a-week renewal proposal - £10,000 more than his active deal by sensationally suggesting the club had offered him ‘nothing’.
In the build-up to the release of the documentary, Pogba further seemed to aim a dig at United as he likened himself to Jesus, saying he was out to make prove the Old Trafford landlords made a mistake in letting him go.
Saha spoke to Sky Sports where he said Pogba’s comments were not necessary, and the midfielder had not done enough to speak in the manner he did.
“I think it’s not necessary, it doesn’t help his cause.
“All those quotes are unnecessary, when I look at all the legends they do their talking on the field. You’re doing a documentary, good for you, do it, if it provides the results you want, fine - I won’t judge that.
Saha went on to observe that Pogba did not do enough to earn a new contract at United.
“When you have liberties to talk or you deserve more - yes, you deserve more if you actually had the performances where no one can criticise you.
Juventus reunion
Latest reports have suggested that Pogba has agreed to join his former club Juventus.
It was at Juve that the midfielder played some of his best football, before making a sensational return to Manchester United for £89m in 2016.
