Florentino Perez has disclosed plans for European football's elite to break away from UEFA competitions are still ongoing.
The Real Madrid supremo was one of the brains behind the plans to establish a pan-continental league that would have included all the big clubs in Europe.

But Perez, chairman of the Super League, still maintains the dream to organise the league is still alive and it could change football for the better.
In an interview with Spanish sports show El Chiringuito TV, quoted by Infinite Madrid, Perez said:
“Yes, Super League is still alive - of course. We are on it. No one left the Super League.
“Champions League football for us has never been in doubt. We've never been worried for Real Madrid to be excluded by Uefa.”
"Of course. We are in the Luxembourg court, and there will be a hearing shortly. We believe that we have the right to organize competitions between us."
"We understand that UEFA is a monopoly and in this Europe of 27 [EU member states] a pillar is that of competition."
