FootballSadio Mane Reaches Full Agreement with Bayern as German Giants Prepare Third Bid for Forward
- Bayern Munich are preparing a new and improved offer to Liverpool for Sadio Mane
- The Senegal forward rocked the Reds by making his intentions of leaving the club clear
- Liverpool have rejected two bids from Bayern, who are determined to acquire the 30-year old
Latest reports suggest Bayern and Mane have already agreed on personal terms, and it is now up to Liverpool
Sadio Mane’s move to Bayern Munich is edging closer as the German giants have reportedly had a verbal agreement with Senegal forward.
Bayern now only need to agree on a fee with Liverpool, who are determined to get the best deal for Mane.
After having a deal of close to £25million rejected by Liverpool, Bayern are now preparing for another third bid for Mane’s services, and Daily Mail reports that they are set to offer a sum of £34.6m
Further reports from Bild indicate that Jurgen Klopp will not stand in the way of Mane’s exit, as the 30-year-old former Southampton man made it clear he wanted to leave.
What remains to be seen is whether Liverpool will eventually succumb to Bayern’s persistence, especially because the third bid does not necessarily satisfy the club’s valuation of Mane (£42million).
If Liverpool accept Bayern’s third bid, the German club would pay £30.3m up front with £4.3m in add-ons later on.
On Monday, June 13, Bayern secured the signing of Ryan Gravenberch from Ajax, and the club’s sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic shifted focus to the acquisition of Mane.
Bayern's initial bids had some outrageous clauses, which typically repelled Liverpool, who simply laughed off the bids.
Liverpool confirm Nunez signing.
Meanwhile, Liverpool have taken a huge step in preparing for life after Mane as the club confirmed the signing of Darwin Nunez from Benfica.
The striker will sign a six-year deal and will wear the number 27 shirt, left vacant by Divock Origi
Nunez was the top scorer in the Primera Liga with 26 goals in 28 games, and managed to impressively bag six goals in 10 Champions League games.
