Sadio Mané received a heroes welcome in his hometown of Bambali in Senegal.
The Liverpool star was met by hundreds of fans after he arrived home with the Africa Cup of Nations trophy which he won with the Senegalese senior national team early this year.
In a video posted on Twitter, the native of Bambali was cheered by friends and family as they welcome their hero.
Sadio Mané played a key role as Senegal won their first ever African Cup of Nations, scoring the winning penalty against Egypt.
He was also named the best player of the tournament after scoring three goals and providing two assists.
At Liverpool, the winger led the Merseyside club to the finals of the UEFA Champions League and won the double as well. He won the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup.
The 30-year-old is currently on the radar of German giants Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Sadio Mané was hit with shock on the streets of Dakar after meeting his look-alike as Senegal prepared for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The 30-year-old Liverpool star had to take photos with his doppelganger for the records, so people might not confuse him with the young man.
In a photo posted on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief, the pair could hardly be separated had Sadio Mané not wore a Senegal national team apparel.

The 30-year-old forward hugged and shook hands with the fan cladded in the colours of Senegal.
In a video posted on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief, the fans was almost in tears as he sang praises of the Liverpool star.
