Boitumelo Radiopane has turned many heads with his stellar season for the Orlando Pirates Reserves in the DStv Diski Challenge.
The 19-year-old striker scored 24 goals in 27 matches for the Buccaneers.
Pirates coach Mandla Ncikazi has also been impressed with the player and promised him more opportunities in the first team next season.
As reported by iDiski Times, Ncikazi had high praise for ‘Radioman’, believing that he is a going to be a great striker.
“Let’s give him an opportunity in the big league. I am very optimistic that we have a good player in him, we have to give him an opportunity soon,” he said.
Ncikazi added that next season Radiopane would be given a chance at the team.
Radiopane’s stellar season saw him win the DStv Diski Challenge’s (DDC) Player of the Season award and the top scorer award for the DDC.
He has also been named in the COSAFA Cup Bafana Bafana preliminary squad, Goal.com reported.
Radiopane enjoyed a standout campaign after he bagged 24 goals in 27 matches to finish as the 2021/22 season top goalscorer. The 20-year-old claimed two accolades at the PSL Awards: DDC Player of the season and the top goalscorer award.

Orlando Pirates striker Boitumelo Radiopane is the toast of the town after an outstanding DStv Diski Challenge campaign.
The "Radio Man" hit the back of the net 24 times in a season that promised so much for the young Bucs but delivered nothing in the end. This tally became the new record since the establishment of the Diski Challenge back in 2014.
Radiopane has impressed Pirates fans who got the opportunity to watch him in action terrorizing defenders and goalkeepers. Many called for him to be included in the senior side as soon as is possible.
