Austria Seeks to Continue Resurgence Under Ralf Rangnick in UEFA Nations League Clash Against Denmark

Denmark and Austria will meet in an intriguing UEFA Nations League A Group 1 encounter at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen tonight.

Both teams have had a good start in what is a tough group, including defending champions France and Croatia.

Coached by Kasper Hjulmand, the Danes sit atop the group after three matches with six points. They stunned France in the opening match 2-1, and defeated the Austrians 2-1 last Monday, before Croatia stopped them in their tracks 1-0 last Friday.

Ralf Rangnick's revival of Austria saw them hammer Croatia 3-0 and draw 1-1 with France on either side of the defeat by Austria. The team sits in second place on four points, with goal difference separating them from Croatia.

According to 11v11, Denmark and Austria have met on 12 occasions since 1950. The Danes lead the series with seven wins to the Austrians' four, with one draw in that time.

Goal reported that Austria's last win against the hosts was in 2010, with the latter having won the last four encounters quite comfortably.

The match will kick off at 20:45 CAT.
