Bayern Munich are reportedly ready to part ways with up to seven players in order to acquire funds to buy Sadio Mane from Liverpool.
In recent weeks, Mane has emerged as a top target for Bayern, who are almost certain to lose want-away star Robert Lewandowski.
The Bavarians saw their first two bids for the Senegal star brutally turned down by Liverpool, who were not impressed by the strange add-ons in the initial offer.
With uncertainty over Mane’s future still lingering, Bayern could resort to freeing up some transfer funds by selling some of their players.
According to a report on Bild, Bayern are open to selling up to eight first team players.
These players include Young stars Omar Richards, Joshua Zirkzee, Christian Früchtl, Christopher Scott and Sarpreet Singh.
Julian Nagelsmann’s side will also be hoping to cash in on Lewandowski, who still has one year left on his current contract.
The Poland international made it clear he wishes to leave Bayern, saying something ‘died inside him’ at the German club after an eight-year spell.
Barcelona have been strongly linked with a move for Lewandowski, although the Spanish club are also facing financial woes of their own.
