Highly-rated Ghanaian winger Aminu Mohammed has been released by English Premier League champions Manchester City.
The former Ghana U17 star leaves Manchester City after four years without making a single appearance for the club.
His departure was confirmed on Friday following his return from loan at Belgium club Lommel SK.
Aminu Mohammed shot to prominence after an outstanding FIFA U17 World Cup in India, where he starred for the Black Starlets of Ghana.
His performance at the tournament, which was ultimately won by England, saw Manchester City pay $2 million to sign him from WAFA.
However, the winger failed to break into the first team of the English champions, forcing him to spend most of his time on loan.
He ended up playing for NAC Breda, Dordrecht and Lommel SK.
