  • Simone Inzaghi wants to use Lautaro Martinez, Paulo Dybala and Romelu Lukaku together next season as he looks to compete for silverware on all fronts
  • Lukaku is said to be pushing for a move away from Chelsea after an underwhelming season that saw him fall out with fans
  • Dybala is also high on Inter Milan’s list, with the Argentine set to become a free agent at the end of this month upon the expiry of his contract

Inter Milan’s head coach Simone Inzaghi is reportedly licking his fingers at the prospect of playing Lautaro Martinez, Paulo Dybala and Romelu Lukaku together.

Inter are understood to be finalizing a deal for Dybala, who is now a free agent after choosing not to extend his contract at Juventus.

Lukaku meanwhile has been the subject of transfer controversy, with the Belgian striker ready to do all it takes to force a move back to Italy. He enjoyed a perfect working relationship with Martinez under the current Tottenham Hotspur boss Antonio Conte.

Gazetta dello Sport understands that Inzaghi has placed Lukaku top on his list as he looks to reclaim the Serie A title they lost to their cross-city rivals AC Milan.

A front two pairing of Lukaku and Martinez has proven feasible before and with the addition of the free-roaming and creative Dybala, Inter Milan could be a force to reckon with.

Todd Boehly and Thomas Tuchel to decide on Romelu Lukaku's future at Chelsea

Sports Brief had earlier reported that New Chelsea owner Todd Boehly was set to meet head coach Thomas Tuchel to approve or reject Romelu Lukaku’s loan deal to Inter Milan.

Lukaku has set his eyes on returning to Milan after a troublesome spell at Chelsea. Lukaku, signed a five-year deal when he rejoined Chelsea earlier this summer, but both parties are said to be ready to work out an amicable divorce.

The Belgian has struggled for game time this season, with young striker Kai Havertz continually preferred ahead of him. He further stirred issues in a controversial interview where he said he wasn’t particularly happy with Thomas Tuchel’s tactics.
