Amazulu are not messing around on the transfer market during the off-season.
The club announced the signing of troubled midfielder Dumisani Zuma. The 25-year-old was shown the door last week by Kaizer Chiefs after a string of disciplinary issues.
According to Goal, Zuma's agent Basia Michaels told the SABC:
“Yes, we have signed with AmaZulu and the president was one of the very first people to give me a call once Chiefs had released a statement in the manner in which they did. We had a good number of conversations and within a short space of time, we had signed. Dumisani would love to go back to his home province and play there."
"He is looking forward to a new challenge – one that doesn’t have too much difficulty and him being weighed down as painfully as his past journey has. With the support that has been offered by president Zungu, I think we will be able to see the rise of the player again.”
Michaels yesterday went on the offensive yesterday when Kick Off reported that Royal AM was attempting to hijack the deal with Amazulu, tweeting:
"This is why I have a problem with journalist during this time of the year!!! This is an absolute lie!!!! Why would you want to cause chaos and turmoil in peoples lives!!! It just doesn’t make sense to me!!"
Meanwhile, The Citizen recently confirmed that wantaway striker Gabadinho Mhango had left Orlando Pirates for Usuthu as the club attempts to revive the flagging careers of players who were based in Gauteng.
