Elvis Manu has presented himself as Ghana's answer to the long-standing goalscoring deficiency.
The 28-year-old forward who switched his international allegiance to Ghana in 2015 is yet to play for the Black Stars but reckons he has what it takes to avert the country's goal-shy conundrum.
The four-time African champions have been struggling for goals since Asamoah Gyan fazed out of the Black Stars in 2019 and Manu wants to continue from where Ghana's leading all-time top scorer left off.
“Yes, I think that the squad [Black Stars] is good, I won’t say anything bad about the squad but in the last couple of years, what everybody says is that they lack goal scoring players and that is a team I think I am the player to bring it into the team when given the opportunity,” he told Angel TV as quoted by Ghana Guardian.
