Memphis Depay and Jerome Boateng have shared their common taste for popular Ghanaian dish jollof rice.
The Barcelona star and the 2014 World Cup winners highly rate jollof rice and find it surprising that there are people who don't like enjoy the delicacy.
In a post on Instagram, Depay quizzed why anybody would not like jollof rice.
His post got the attention of former Bayern Munich star Jerome Boateng, who replied "impossible".
Jollof rice is a Ghanaian dish that has a brownish-red look, and it is enjoyed mostly with goal meat or chicken.
For a very long time, Ghana and Nigeria have been at each others neck over who prepares the best jollof rice.
And it looks like Ghana is winning once again, with confirmation from Jerome Boateng and Memphis Depay.
Both Jerome Boateng and Mephis Depay were born to Ghanaian fathers in Europe.
Memphis Depay reveals reason why he rejected Ghana
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Memphis Depay turned down an approach by the Ghana Football Association to have him named in the Black Stars squad due to his father.
The Barcelona attacker was born to a Ghanaian father and a Dutch mother, thus the 28-year-old was eligible to play for the Black Stars.
But Depay, who has Ghanaian dual citizenship, Ghana and the Netherlands, chose to represent the European powerhouse, the country of his birth.

The photo of the couple with their newly-born child, which has since gone viral, comes on the back of a video which emerged earlier of Memphis revealing he has reconciled with his biological father, after many years of estranged relationship.
In a post on Twitter, sighted by Sports Brief, the viral photo shows Memphis in the hands of his mum alongside his Ghanaian dad in a hospital setting.
