Bruno Fernandes has taken the time to send a message to Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard after the duo's Manchester United exit.
Both Pogba and Lingard are set to leave Old Trafford this summer on free transfers after the expiration of their contracts with the Red Devils.
Man United confirmed the duo's imminent departures on Wednesday, June 1, with the club thanking both players for their service in a passionate statement.
The two midfielders rose through the ranks at United's academy, with Pogba initially leaving United for Juventus before he returned for a second spell in 2016.
However, having failed to live up to their billing, United decided to cut ties with the duo as new boss, Erik ten Hag embarks on a rebuild mission.
Bruno Fernandes sends Pogba, Lingard message after exit
Fernandes, who had the privilege of playing with Pogba and Lingard at Man United has now taken to his Instagram to send his best wishes to the duo.
In his tribute to the duo, the Portuguese, who joined United in 2020 said it was a pleasure to play alongside the departing stars.
Fernandes said on Pogba:
"It was a pleasure to play alongside you for this period. Nothing but the best for your future."
On Lingard, the Portuguese playmaker added:
"I enjoyed having you as a teammate. Keep the good energy and never change that. Go and enjoy yourself always."
