Thomas Partey has been sighted at the Cape Coast Stadium ahead of Ghana's 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Madagascar.
The 28-year-old midfielder was left out of Ghana's squad for the AFCON qualifiers and the pre-World Cup tournament as he recovers from a thigh injury.
Despite not playing an active role in the upcoming international assignments, the deputy Black Stars skipper is at the Cape Coast Stadium to throw his weight behind his teammates.
In a post on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief, Partey and his entourage received a rapturous reception by some section of supporters at the venue before heading to the VIP stands to watch his teammates cross swords with Madagascar on Wednesday evening.

The Black Stars have been dealt a massive injury blow as deputy skipper Thomas Partey is set to miss Ghana's 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers next month.
Partey sustained muscle damage in a Premier League fixture against Jordan Ayew's Crystal Palace in February and is currently recuperating.
Despite returning to full-scale training at Arsenal, the midfield linchpin will miss next month's qualifiers and international friendlies, according to reports emerging in the local media.
