Liverpool star Sadio Mane builds GHC3.4m hospital for his hometown in Senegal

Liverpool and Senegal footballer Sadio Mane has delivered his promise of building a hospital for the people of his village in Bambaly.
The 29-year-old forward handed over the newly built hospital to the state in a brief ceremony which had President of Senegal Macky Sall in attendance.
The health facility will have an A&E department, maternity care, dental facilities and consulting rooms.
Mane, after seeing his father pass away because of the lack of a health center in Bamabaly promised to build an ultra-modern medical facility for his people.
The hospital which is fully equipped with the best medical devices cost a little over half a million Euros.
In other football news, English Premier League outfit, Newcastle United, is interested in signing Ghana captain Andre Ayew in the summer transfer window after the player left Swansea City at the end of last season.
The 31-year-old is currently a free agent and could join any club of his choice as several teams show interest in him.
The former Olympique Marseille striker ended last season in phenomenal fashion, netting 17 goals to singlehandedly lift Swansea fo the finals of the promotion play-offs, but lost out to Brentford.
Also, Ghana's Isaac Dogboe's hope of winning another world title is still on course following a superb display against Adams Lopez.
Dogboe reigned supreme over Lopez on Saturday night, June 19, 2021, in Las Vegas scoring level points on the card of judge Dave Moretti (95-95), as judges Chris Migliore (97-93) and Don Trella (96-94) who ruled in favor of Ghanaian.
Dogboe was fighting for just the second time since suffering the latter of back-to-back defeats to Emanuel Navarrete to end his title reign.
