Super Falcons forward, Asisat Oshoala has won another major trophy as Barcelona Femeni were crowned Copa De La Reina champions.

The 27-year-old was an unused substitute as Barcelona cruised past Sporting Huelva 6-1 to win their third domestic title this campaign.

The Spanish side put their Champions League disappointment behind them as Fisher’s own goal and strikes from María León, Crnogorcevic, Pina, Martens, and Alexia powered them to another dominant win.

According to Pulse Sports, Oshoala won the league title with Barcelona and despite losing the Champions League final to Lyon ended the season in style with the Copa De La Reina.

Asisat Oshoala has now won the Spanish League three times, one UEFA Champions League, and two Copa De La Reina titles since joining Barcelona in 2019.

Barcelona Femeni makes history again

Meanwhile, Barcelona Femeni can’t stop breaking records when it comes to women’s football this season as they once again made history with their latest Copa De La Reina victory.

According to Sun News Online, Barcelona Femeni became the second team in the history of women’s football to claim a treble.

The Spanish giants won all three domestic titles available this season including the Super Cup, the League title, and now the Copa De La Reina.

Lyon stun Barcelona to win women’s Champions League

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Barcelona were defeated 3-1 by Lyon on Saturday evening as the Spanish club lose the Women’s Champions League final in Turin.

The French team showed much determination in the encounter, with so much strength, and experience which helped them dominate the highly-entertaining encounter.

Lyon have now won their eighth title as they become European champions again after two years.
