Welsh icon Gareth Bale has now won his historic fifth Champions League title despite making just seven minutes appearance in the competition during the just-concluded season.
The 32-year-old was an unused substitute in the final against Liverpool as Vinicius Junior scored the only goal to gift Los Blancos their fourteenth Champions League crown.
The winger completes his contract with Real Madrid after winning the prestigious title for a fifth time with SunSport reporting that Bale has won the title 2014, 2016, 2017, 2018 and now 2022 at the Stade de France.

FootballThe former Tottenham star was spotted in the front row for the Spanish giants' trophy lift.
Recall that it was Bale that scored the winner at the 2018 final when these two sides met as he netted a stunning overhead kick and a long-range strike.
He was named on the bench against Jurgen Klopp’s side yet again in Paris, but manager Carlo Ancelotti did not feature him despite his talents.
And fans have taken to social media to congratulate the Welshman:
One fan said:
"Can we all just appreciate the #GarethBale is dancing on the pitch laughing his ar*e off at the fans that hate him - what a fella!"
Another added:
"Good to see Gareth Bale there. He should be remembered as an absolute Real Madrid legend and one of British football’s greatest exports.

FootballMeanwhile, Karim Benzema and eight of his Real Madrid teammates matched Cristiano Ronaldo's remarkable five Champions League titles after helping the White Angels beat Liverpool in this season's Champions League finals.
Aside from Benzema, Gareth Bale, Dani Carvajal, Isco, Marcelo, Luka Modric, Casemiro, Toni Kroos, and Nacho have now equalled Cristiano Ronaldo's record and lifted the Champions League trophy five times.
Sports Brief earlier reported that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has sent Arsenal a message after they missed out on a Champions League qualification.
The Gunners came close to securing a top-four spot this term by just two points, with rivals, Tottenham Hotspur, finishing ahead of them.
Aubameyang, who spent the first half of the season at the Emirates has now expressed his disappointment after his former side failed to qualify for the top four.
