Sadio Mane consoles teammates after Champions League heartbreak

Express UK reports Mane was bright in phases during the final but ultimately, the Liverpool ace was unable to score.

After the match, the Senegalese showed what a class act he is by consoling teammates on the field after the full-time whistle at the Stade de France.

Mane was spotted approaching centre-back, Virgil van Dijk, who cut a dejected face after the contest and later walked up to comfort a devastated Fabinho.

The forward's touch of class came amid reports he could dump the Reds this summer.

Despite having a year left on his contract at Anfield, Mirror UK reports Mane is facing an uncertain future with the Merseysiders and has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich.

The 30-year-old is yet to reach an agreement to extend beyond that and the player has admitted his future will be cleared up soon.

Sadio Mane, Salah blamed for Liverpool's Champions League loss

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Arsene Wenger has suggested that Liverpool's Premier League title loss last weekend may have had an impact on their Champions League final performance.

The former Premier League manager noted that key Liverpool players like Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah failed to turn up in Paris.

Both Mane and Salah had golden chances to put the Reds ahead of Real Madrid but were denied by the incredible Thibaut Courtois.
