AS Roma teen sensation Felix Afena-Gyan presented his UEFA Conference League winner's medal to his mother, Juliet Adubea upon his arrival in Ghana.

The 19-year-old forward became the youngest ever Ghanaian to win a European competition when his Roma side edged Feyenoord on Wednesday, May 25.

Although Afena-Gyan did not feature in the final game, he earned a winner's medal after making six appearances in the inaugural Conference League competition.

In a post on Twitter, sighted by Sports Brief, the Black Stars youngster is captured in a hearty moment with his mum as he presented her with the medal.

Fresh off winning the Europa Conference League with AS Roma, Felix Afena-Gyan has arrived in Ghana ahead of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers next week.

The 19-year-old joins his Black Stars teammates for early preparations ahead of the games against Madagascar and the Central African Republic in June.
