Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard has boldly touted his former side to clinch this season's Champions League title.
Gerrard, who won the competition with Liverpool in 2005, believes the Reds will exact revenge for their 2018 Champions League loss when they cross swords with Real Madrid in Paris.
The current manager of Aston Villa, who is currently in Paris, watched his former side train ahead of Saturday'finals and posted a short video to throw his support behind the Merseyside club.
"You can feel the atmosphere building. I'd like to wish everyone at Liverpool the best of luck, and I hope they get the outcome that everyone wants," Gerrard begins as quoted by Daily Mail.
"I'm getting excited about the game and the fans are building up nicely outside the stadium."
Gerrard put his reputation on the line in the prediction business.
"Hopefully, it'll be a fantastic game and I predict a 2-0 Liverpool win," Gerrard ended.
The six-time winners of Europe's prestigious club competition have been tipped by many to edge Madrid in the finals including an unlikely source, a Yellow Turtle living in the Sea Life Aquarium in Benalmadena in the Spanish City of Malaga, MARCA reports.
