Incoming Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has sent a fiery warning to Man City and Liverpool after officially taking charge of the Red Devils.
Ten Hag was appointed United's permanent manager back in April but had to wait until the conclusion of the 2021/22 campaign to formally take over from Ralf Rangnick.
The Dutchman's arrival comes at a time the Old Trafford dwellers have been struggling for form and results post-Sir Alex Ferguson era.
According to ESPN, this season was the club's worst-ever Premier League campaign considering the points they garnered.
United flops could only manage 58 points from 38 rounds of matches to finish sixth on the standings, a staggering 35 points behind title winners, Man City.

Ten Hag has now sent Man City and Liverpool a cautionary note, declaring that he is out to get Man United back on top.
The former Ajax boss outlined his mission to end their rivals' dominance in the domestic league.
“At this moment, I admire them both, Manchester City and Liverpool. They both play really fantastic football, both Liverpool and Man City," he said.
"But you will always see an era can come to an end and I am looking forward to battling with them. I’m really looking forward to doing this job at this club with a massive history," he added.
