Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola and his players partied late into the night after winning the English Premier League. Pictures of the English champions celebrating their latest triumph have been circulated online.
Guardiola and his side had to dig deep to win their fourth title in five years. Aston Villa had raced to a 2-0 shock lead at the Etihad to tilt the advantage back to City’s rivals Liverpool.
But an inspired comeback headlined by Ilkay Gundogan saw City score three goals in the space of five minutes to beat Liverpool to the title by a single point.
And the champions celebrated in style by taking to the Ivy Restaurant in Manchester in a party that the Daily Mail understands went up to 3 AM. Guardiola, his players and their partners were in attendance.
Former Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish headlined the celebrations. Grealish was celebrating his first Premier League title after making the switch at the start of the season. He posted photos on his Instagram account as he imbibed with fellow players and the technical staff.
Daily Mail further reports that Grealish was beyond stoked to bag his first Premier League title.
