A Spanish reporter Jose Felix Diaz has blasted Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe for agreeing to a new deal with the French club, saying the striker is not a sportsman.

After months of speculations surrounding his future, the Frenchman has decided to extend his stay with PSG as opposed to a move to the Spanish capital.

News that Mbappe has renewed his contract with the Parisians has left the whole of La Liga in disarray as many had tipped the 23-year-old to join Real Madrid ahead of next season, SPORTbible reports.

The forward’s deal with PSG comes to an end this summer and Real Madrid had matched the terms offered by the French giants, only for the player to announce his decision to renew his current deal until 2025.

Spanish reporter Jose Felix Diaz has been left furious with the turn of events, branding ‘Mbappe’ a coward before adding that the player is not a man.

Speaking live on Spanish TV, Diaz said as per Daily Mail:

“Just 10 days ago you were giving your word [to Real Madrid]. They sent you a shirt and you received it for your birthday.

“You were denying reports that were proven to be true. Mbappe, you're not a sportsman. You don't keep your word. You're not a man. It's that clear. I can't consider you as one.

“Why? Because you've misled millions of people, not only Florentino Perez. Just two weeks ago, or even 10 days ago, you still said 'yes'.

“Then, you were so cowardly that you didn't even phone, you just sent a message. You just showed what you are. You're a man who doesn't keep his word.

Meanwhile, Sports Brief earlier reported that Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema has revealed his cryptic response to Kylian Mbappe’s decision to snub Real Madrid.

As news emerged that Mbappe has rejected a move to Spain, Benzema shared a picture on Instagram of his hand pointing to the Real Madrid badge, as to affirm his loyalty to the club.

Benzema also made another curious Instagram post to suggest he is displeased with Mbappe.
