Realistically, Mikel Arteta's side will need any form of victory against Everton and hope Tottenham falter to 20th-placed Norwich City at Carrow Road to stand any chance of making the top four.
After their defeat to Newcastle United on Monday, Arsenal have now conceded a goal in their last nine games.
But they have won each of their last 10 final-day matches in the Premier League and will certainly be the fresher of the two sides this weekend.

Partey returned to full training with Arsenal on Thursday and is expected to be part of the team to face Everton.
When fit, Partey has established himself as a key player for Arsenal in the middle of the park, registering two goals and one assist in 24 Premier League matches throughout the season.
Kieran Tierney and Takehiro Tomiyasu still remains in the treatment room, while Rob Holding is back from a ban and represents a much fitter option at the back compared to Gabriel Magalhaes and Ben White - both of whom reportedly missed training on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Everton's defence will be bolstered by the return of Jarrad Branthwaite from a one-match ban.
