FootballLa Liga, in a scathing statement, termed Mbappe’s new PSG deal ‘scandalous’, further announcing intentions file a complaint to Uefa as well as French and EU authorities.
"On Kylian Mbappe's possible announcement to stay at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), LaLiga wishes to state this type of agreement attacks the economic stability of European football, putting at risk hundreds of thousands of jobs and the integrity of the sport, not only in European competitions, but also in domestic leagues.” La Liga’s statement read.
"It is scandalous that a club like PSG, which last season reported losses of more than 220 million euros after accumulating losses of more than 700 million euros in prior seasons (while reporting sponsorship income at doubtful valuation), with a squad cost around 650 million for this season, can close such an agreement, while those clubs that could afford the hiring of the player without seeing their wage bill compromised, are left without being able to sign him.

FootballSpanish football expert Guillem Balague last month revealed some explosive details about PSG’s proposed new offer to Mbappe which included a 150m euro signing-on fee that would keep him for a further two seasons.
Speaking on the Parc des Princes’ football pitch moments after the new deal was confirmed, Mbappe said he was happy to be staying at the French capital.
"I am very happy to stay in France, in Paris, in my city," the Ligue 1 top scorer said as quoted by BBC.
La Liga President Javier Tebas also criticized the manner in which PSG held on to Mbappe, terming it an “insult to football”.
"What PSG is going to do by renewing Mbappe with large amounts of money after losing 700m euros in recent seasons and having more than 600m euros in wages, is an INSULT to football." He said on social media.
