Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante has dropped a major hint on his future at Stamford Bridge, with just a year left on his current contract with the club.

The France international has continually been linked with a potential exit, with Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain believed to be keen on his services.

Incoming Man United boss Erik ten Hag is also said to be interested in Kante as he begins his Old Trafford rebuilding.

N'Golo Kante breaks silence on his Chelsea future

The World Cup-winning star has now come out to speak on what the future holds for him and the Blues.

In an interview with Sky Sports, Kante hinted that he intends to stay at Stamford Bridge for at least another season.

"The only thing is sure that I have one more year and the only thing is to finish this season. I’ll think about it in the right time," he said.

Kante's comments come at a time Ten Hag is said to have instructed his new employers to work on a deal that could see the Chelsea star move to Old Trafford this summer.

Mirror Football claims the Dutchman is keen to have Kante within his ranks to kick-start his United overhaul.

It remains unclear if the Blues would be willing to part ways with yet another high-ranking member of the squad.

The West Londoners have already lost Antonio Rudiger to Real Madrid, while Andreas Christensen is also said to be steps away from sealing a switch to Barcelona.

Chelsea set to complete Jules Kounde transfer

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Chelsea have prioritised the signing of Sevilla defender Jules Kounde once the club's takeover is completed.

The Blues are in the market for a top central defender who will replace Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen

Both Rudiger and Christensen are set to depart the club at the end of the season, with both players moving to the La Liga.
