Mayor of Madrid, Jose Luis Martinez-Almeida has jokingly disclosed the destination of Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé.
According to Jose Luis Martinez-Almeida, the highly sought-after Frenchman will be heading to Atletico Madrid when his contract with his current employers expires next month.
Mbappé was earlier sighted in Madrid with teammate and former Real Madrid defender Achraf Hakimi as rumours about his future continue to swirl.
The 23-year-old Frenchman has enjoyed an extraordinary campaign. He has been involved in 70 goals this season for club and country and it comes as no surprise he is courting the interest of most European heavyweight clubs.

But in a hilarious move, the Mayor of Madrid Jose Luis Martinez-Almeida argues that although multiple media reports link Mbappe to Real Madrid, he reckons the Frenchman will head to the other side of the city.
"Mbappe? He told me he's coming to Atletico Madrid," mayor of Madrid, Jose Luis Martinez-Almeida, has told Gol as quoted by Tribuna.
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Kylian Mbappe has been sighted in Madrid as questions about his future club continue. Mbappe is in Madrid in the company of his Paris Saint Germain teammate Archaf Hakimi.
Mbappe uploaded a picture on his Instagram account that is understood to have been taken from his barber’s place in Madrid.
The French superstar has been subject to unending transfer rumours. Real Madrid are hoping to sign him on a free transfer. His current contract with PSG runs out next month.
