One-time Barcelona talisman Ronaldinho has thrown his weight behind Liverpool ahead of the Champions League final showdown against Real Madrid.
The Brazilian legend revealed he will be supporting the Merseyside outfit in this season's Champions League finals, which will be staged on May 28 at the Stade de France in Paris.
Ronaldinho clinched his only Champions League crown with Barcelona at the Stade de France and insinuated his ties with the Catalan giants makes it impossible to support the record holders of Europe's premier interclub competition - Real Madrid.

Football"They [Real Madrid and Liverpool] are two good teams," he told RMC as quoted by MARCA.
"They have very good players. I wish them the best. Real Madrid is very good. They do a great job. But as I like Barcelona a lot, I'm with Liverpool (laughs)."
Liverpool and Real Madrid will face each other in the Champions League finals for the third time having previously met in 1981 and 2018.
With the head-to-head record evenly balanced this year's finals will be the perfect opportunity for either side to stamp their authority as a European powerhouse in the continent's most prestigious club competition.
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Brazil and FC Barcelona legend Ronaldinho Gaucho has disclosed his secret admiration for ex-Super Eagles skipper Austin Jay-Jay Okocha and Colombian icon Carlos Valderrama.
According to the two-time World Footballer of the Year, the only No. 10's he admired were Okocha and Valderrama.
In a post on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief, Ronaldinho - who is mentioned in the same breath as Maradona and Pele as one of the greatest footballers to have graced the sport - eulogized the aforementioned duo.
