Brazil and FC Barcelona right-back Dani Alves has named Achraf Hakimi as one of his favourite full-backs he loves to watch.
Regarded as one of the greatest right-backs football has witnessed, Alves revealed he admires the Morocco international as well as Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold and Reece James of Chelsea.
Despite failing to command a regular position at Real Madrid, Hakimi left for more playing time and became an instant hit at Dortmund before switching to Inter Milan, where he won the Serie A with the Nerazzurri.
The 23-year-old flying full-back currently plies his trade in the French Ligue 1 with Paris Saint-Germain, one of Alves' former clubs, where he is highly regarded.
In an interview with FourFourTwo, the Brazilian defender eulogized the aforementioned trio upholding their high standards.
"I admire Trent Alexander-Arnold very much," Alves tells the May edition of FourFourTwo, out in shops this Thursday. "He’s a fantastic footballer – this guy has got world-class skills."
"I also like to watch Reece James and Achraf Hakimi," he continued. "They mix strength with technique and are also great players. The three of them obviously have different characteristics and styles, but they all know how to do the job."
