Top Ghanaian music star Gregory Bortey, popularly known as King Promise, who is friends with Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi and Arsenal forward Eddie Nketiah has disclosed he has been talking to both players to consider a nationality switch and play for the Black Stars.
Hudson-Odoi and Eddie Nketiah were born and raised in England by Ghanaian parents and have represented the youth national teams of the European country.
In the case of Hudson-Odoi, he has also earned three international caps for England but with FIFA's new rules allowing him to make a change, King Promise stated in an interview with YFM that he has had conversations with the duo, urging them to play for Ghana.
"I have been bothering him about playing for Ghana. I don't remember the last time we spoke but I told him bro, I will call him till you change your mind and every time I call him and I am like, bro, Black Stars and he is like you are an idiot," he said smiling on YFM's Shouts on Y show.
"I do the same with Nketiah and like bro, you have to play for Ghana and anyone who is a Ghanaian and can play I urge them to play. I don't know if he will play for Ghana but I have done my part."
Tariq Lamptey is another English-born Ghanaian on the verge of playing for the Black Stars.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that the Black Stars is about to receive a massive inclusion according to musician Gregory Promise Bortey Newman, known in the entertainment industry as King Promise.
